Tillsyn 5/23: Enforcement of e-commerce articles 2022

With a special focus on marketplaces and dropshipping

This project is part of the European enforcement project on integrated control of products (REF-10), as well as part of a Nordic project on e-commerce. In the project, we have checked a total of 147 articles – toys, jewellery, electronics, and soft plastic articles – purchased from 50 different websites. The results show that the items from dropshipping stores had the most non-compliances (72 percent), followed by marketplaces (60 percent) and traditional online stores (39 percent).
