In order to sell or use a plant protection product in Sweden, you need an authorisation for your product by the Swedish Chemicals Agency. Here you will find information about the different types of applications that are available and links to relevant guidance documents and application forms.
Plant protection products are pesticides that are mainly used to protect plants and plant products in agriculture, forestry and horticulture. If you want to import, sell or otherwise transfer a chemical plant protection product or a biological plant protection product consisting of microorganisms, you must apply for authorisation from the Swedish Chemicals Agency. You apply according to the rules of the EU Plant Protection Regulation.
