Opening hours

Our switchboard and reception desk currently have shorter opening hours. This to reduce the number of employees who are on site at the office and counteract the spread of covid-19. The switchboard and reception desk are open weekdays 08:00–12:00.

The phone service Ask the Swedish Chemical Agency Helpdesk is open all summer. Between 5 July and 6 August, we are only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 09:00 to 11:00. The response time for written questions may be longer than the seven working days that are normally our goal.

Between 5 July and 6 August, the Product Register's phone line is closed. Contact us by e-mail produktregistret@kemi.se. Due to low staffing, our response time may be longer than normal.

Some 300 tip-offs from companies and the general public regarding shortcomings in chemical safety are filed with us each year. It helps us protecting people and the environment and make companies fulfil their obligations.
