Ozone depleting substances
The EU regulation on ozone-depleting substances is replaced by a new, revised regulation (EU) No. 2024/590, which applies from 11 March 2024. The regulation contains rules on production, import, export, placing on the market, use, recycling, reuse , regeneration and destruction of substances that deplete the ozone layer.
The new regulation mainly contains changes that affect those who are allowed to use ozone-depleting substances in the few exceptions that exist.

There are no amendments or corrections in the Regulation.
