We have collaborated with Vinachemia, the chemical authority in Vietnam, for many years. The current cooperation focuses on supporting the implementation of a new chemicals law adopted in 2025.

Key areas include health and environmental safety within the chemical industry, as well as the transport of dangerous goods. In the area of dangerous goods transport, support is provided by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency.

The cooperation contributes to a safer working environment in Vietnam’s growing chemical industry, as well as improved secondary legislation and inspection activities. This, in turn, will help ensure safer products on the market, both in Vietnam and globally.

The collaboration is funded by Sida.
