Report 4/22: Regeringsuppdrag om en stärkt och utökad marknadskontroll inom kemikalieområdet

The Swedish Chemicals Agency has been given a government assignment in 2022 to plan for a strengthened and expanded market surveillance of chemicals for both the agency and at the municipal level. According to the budget bill for 2022 our work with market surveillance will get an incremental increase in resources from 2022-2024. The assignment consists of a description of our previous work with market surveillance together with an analysis of the cost for 2024 and onwards and whether the announced funds will be enough to meet the requirements for market surveillance at the EU level.
