Two substances in PRIO updated with the reference Candidate List
In June 2023 the European Chemicals Agency ECHA updated the Candidate List with two new substances of very high concern (SVHC):
- Diphenyl(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine oxide, EC-number 278-355-8, CAS-number 75980-60-8
- Bis(4-chlorophenyl) sulphone, EC-number 201-247-9, CAS-number 80-07-9
These substances were already included in the PRIO database as priority risk-reduction substances, and have now been updated to the higher priority level phase-out substances with the reference REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006), Candidate List.
