PPPAMS – Plant Protection Product Application Management System
PPPAMS is an EU-wide web tool for applications for plant protection products authorisation according to the EU Plant Protection Products Regulation. You can use the tool when applying for new product authorisations, mutual recognitions or derogations for emergency situations.
The EU database PPPAMS is a web tool for applications according to the EU Plant Protection Products Regulation. The EU Commission has developed PPPAMS to allow companies and organisations to submit their applications through this system. It is also possible for applicants and concerned member states to follow the process for the application in the system.
The EU Commission's objectives with PPPAMS are
- harmonisation of the formal requirements for application of PPPs between Member States
- streamline mutual recognition of authorisations for PPPs between Member States to speed up time to market
- improve the management of the evaluation process for authorisation of PPPs
- deliver correct and timely information on authorised or withdrawn plant protection products to stakeholders.
PPPAMS in its current form is used since March 2016. It is open for submission of applications for new product authorisations, mutual recognitions or derogations for emergency situations.
