New rules on the sale of biocidal products

News 1/7/2015

Are you selling a biocidal product in Sweden? Is there a validated substance dossier for the active substance? If so, you must be able to demonstrate that you or your supplier are on the Article 95 list on 1 September 2015.

The Article 95 list is set up by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and includes companies having access to documentation on active substances in biocidal products.

Your company or your substance or product supplier must no later than 1 September 2015 either

  • be on the Article 95 list,
  • be able to show that the biocidal product or active substance has been provided by a company on the list, or
  • give reference to a dossier that has already been submitted by someone else and where the data period is expired.
