Training on Risk Assessment and Risk Management of Highly Hazardous Pesticides
Bangkok, Thailand – Postponed
Due to too few applicants we are postponing the planned Training on Risk Assessment and Risk Management of Highly Hazardous Pesticides, from September 2-6 until a later date. New dates and application deadline will be announced shortly.
The training is aimed primarily at pesticide regulators, inspectors, public health pest control managers and others working in the field of pesticide/chemicals management.
This training will provide participants with an understanding of the basic principles of risk assessment and risk management of pesticides as well as basic skills to perform such assessments. The emphasis is on highly hazardous pesticides and on the use of peer reviewed and accessible information for the assessment and management of such pesticides nationally. The training also seeks to establish and promote existing networks of experts which can further share their knowledge with other relevant colleagues (train the trainers).
The training is financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and organized by the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI) as part of the on-going support for capacity development on preventive chemicals control in participating countries.
