Chipboards may contain a substance called formaldehyde.

Formaldehyde can be an ingredient in the adhesive used when making the chipboards. The substance can cause allergic reactions and there are regulations for how much that may leak from manufactured articles.

When you are in the store, ask what the article contains so that you can make an informed choice.
