This website is partially compliant with the Digital Public Service Accessibility Act, due to the shortcomings described below.

Content not available – failure to comply with legal requirements

Problems with use without vision

• Images in PDF documents may be missing or have incorrect text options.
• Some PDF documents are not properly crafted (tagged) to work with screen readers.
• The reading order may be incorrect in PDF documents published before 23 September 2018.
• The site contains Word and Excel files that may not work with screen readers.
• Videos lack visual interpretation.
  
• Some numerical data in the Prio tool, such as dates, CAS numbers and EC numbers (chemical substance identification numbers), are not read out correctly by some text-to-speech tools.

Problems with navigability

• Some pages contain link texts where the same link text is used for several destinations.
• On some pages, the link text is too general for the context.
• Some image links lack alternative text.

General lack of accessibility

• Web applications that are under the subdomain apps.kemi.se have general accessibility problems. This applies, for example, to the Pesticides Register, the Company Register, the List of Substances and the statistics application for Flow Analyses.

How we tested the site

The latest assessment was made on 26 September 2023 as an internal testing (self-assessment).

The latest assessment performed by an external consultant, was made in November 2020. Report with test results and proposed measures (PDF 1170 kB, in Swedish) , 1.2 MB.. We consider the problems identified as priorities in the report to be remedied.
