The Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI) takes part in work which is in process in the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and is represented in the FAO expert panel on pesticides.

The panel is an advisory body to FAO on issues regarding implementation and guidelines to the FAO Code of Conduct on Distribution and Use of Pesticides. The guidelines are particularly important to developing countries.
