An overview of chemicals is now available in English. The tables present information derived from the Swedish Chemicals Agency's Products Register. They give an extensive picture of the use of chemical substances and products in Sweden. The use is described by type of product, industrial sector, danger class and statistical number.

Statistics in brief presents diagrams and graphs on developments in substances and product groups of topical interest.

Flow analyses of chemical substances are official statistics.

Each year the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI) and Statistics Sweden (SCB) jointly produce a Statistical Bulletin which is issued by the SCB publishing service.

Most of the data presented on the following pages on statistics for chemicals form the basis for joint planning, research and public information. The information has been checked with respect to quality.
