Points that companies should bear in mind
Avoid unnecessary reports to the police and environmental sanction charges by ensuring the following:
- label chemical products with hazard information in Swedish
- submit safety data sheets in Swedish
- notify products to the Products Register (manufacturing, importing, and when placing a product on the market)
- ensure child-resistant fastenings where required
- sell only authorised pesticides
- apply for a permit for transfer of extremely hazardous products.
Companies must report to the Swedish Consumer Agency it they are aware that an article or service provided by them at any time is harmful.
